JMC Physiocures Coatbridge is located at the top of Academy Street and we have been based in the Coatbridge area since 2008. We have three physiotherapists working from this clinic and offer evening and weekend appointments. There is free on road parking or a free car park only 50m from the clinic to the rear of the building, the clinic is easily accessible with public transport with the nearest bus stop or train station within a few minutes walk.
William Devlin is a senior physiotherapist at JMC Physiocures. Training at Glasgow Caledonian University he qualified in 2002. His first job was in the Western Infirmary Glasgow where he developed an interest in musculoskeletal injuries and sports injuries/rehabilitation. Over two years he gained valuable experience working in medical/surgical, cardio-thoracic, care of the elderly and stroke rehabilitation along with several musculoskeletal placements. Working then started working at Motherwell Health Centre where he was solely working with musculoskeletal conditions, whilst gaining good working links with local GP’s. At the same time William started working part time with Celtic Football Club helping to treat and rehabilitate from the U10’s to U17’s, however within 10 months he was offered a full time post working with Celtic FC.
William started working full time with Celtic Football Club in April 2005 and gained invaluable experience working with all teams from the U19’s, reserve squad and with the 1st team. During his time with Celtic FC, he built close working relationships with the best orthopaedic consultants, as well as close working links with chiropractors, podiatrist, sports scientists, strength and conditioning coach and dieticians.
Whilst working with Celtic FC, William opened his first private clinic based in Rutherglen in 2007, then he opened his second clinic in Coatbridge in 2009, the third clinic at Ravenscraig Motherwell opened in 2011 and finally Revie Physiocures in Hamilton November 2016. William is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, The Health Professions Council and is also registered with The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, which is another area he specializes in. In his spare time he enjoys football, running, cycling and spending time with his family.
David qualified at Glasgow Caledonian from the MSc Programme after previously completing a Nursing degree in Ireland.
He currently works with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde along with JMC Physiocures. He has completed a number of courses to develop his skills and has a keen interest in Rugby GAA and Golf.
Christine graduated in 2009 and has worked in a variety of jobs since then working for the NHS in London, Glasgow and Lanarkshire as well as private practice including the BMI hospital in Stirling.
She has completed a variety of course and has a special interest in Pilates and rehabilitation in general. Christine also has two lovely girls who she loves looking after out of work.
